What we collect

Your email address when you sign up. Your name and profile photo if you log in with Google. A hash of your password if you set one; never the password itself. Standard server logs: IP address, browser user agent, timestamps. A session cookie when you are logged in.

What we do with it

We email you about tocsin!: confirming your address, welcoming you, and telling you when access opens. Every email carries an opt-out link. We use your account data to operate the service. That is the whole list.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We run no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no ad networks. The session cookie is host-only and follows you to no other site.

Where it lives

On infrastructure we run ourselves. If you log in with Google, Google processes that sign-in under their privacy policy; we receive your email, name, and photo, nothing more.

Deletion

Ask and we delete your account row, your avatar copy, and your place on the list. Use the contact below or the opt-out link in any email.

Changes

This page is the current policy. Material changes get emailed to confirmed addresses.
